I’ve always wanted to like this band. Still do. The simple fact is, though, that I’ve never heard more than their incredible singles. My story:
I stumbled upon Henry Fiat’s Open Sore around 2003/2004. I had an AMP magazine that came free from Hot Topic. To give some context, Billy Joe Armstrong of Green Day was on the cover. It was the heyday of American Idiot and my fandom was huge. That said, I was simultaneously becoming a diehard The Hives fan. To this day, my fandom for The Hives remains rabid, while my once Green Day love has waned seriously.
