Columbo Demo 2011

This is the first Demotape by Leipzig's Thrashcore unit Columbo. Raging fast hardcorepunk with a solid (thrash)metal-edge and a female singer that screams out her lungs. Nihil Baxter - Debauching The Kids 7''

Yeah, you can call yourself lucky when you've been able to get your hands on one of these very special limited-to-50 bonus 7''es by Nihil Baxter! There are no new songs on it, but three unreleased (ok, one of them was on the thrash up my ass tape sampler..) songs from the recording-session for the first 7'' plus a "Surf Nazis Must Die" cover song from the same session.
The songs are of course not their best, otherwise they had been on the first 7'' but the cool thing is the silk screen print on the backside of the vinyl!

Maybe you ask "why the fuck would someone only press 50 of a record?" Well, it's because the pressing plant fucked up the Demo 7'' and this is their way to calm us down and say sorry.

Experimental portland styled hardcore punk, intensive, melodic, dodgy. The straight forward male front shouting combined with the somehow poppy melodies of the female singing part is unbelievable arcanding and another cause, that makes it nearly impossible for me to give relevant directions, so better give it a try without knowing, for whose fans this might be interesting. Some hours ago I tried to find a mp3 copy of this LP for my laptop and I was surprised not to find a bit of this wonderful piece of wax out of the year 2009. So here it is. One of the best german full lengths from the last few years. If youre into fast and snotty kick ass punk like DEAN DIRG, HFOS or even ANGRY SAMOANS, CIRCLE JERKS. Unfortuanetely the band isnt active any longer. R.I.P.

Yet another premium punk post on 911trash! This time with germanys next punk superstars fresh outta Göttingen, Septic Dieter. Not really that fresh, they exist since 2007 I read somewhere, but never got those arses up to record something, which changed with their first real demo output on a physical sound storage medium. Think 80s influenced krautpunk bands like AMEN81, KAPUT KRAUTS, AFFENMESSERKAMPF. Punk with a certain core, Hardcore with a big punk edge and great messages. Leather - Addicted to suffering (Demo-MC)

Allow me to introduce you Leather! What a great band, playing some nice shit. The sound roots definitly in the 80s, quite near to early Black Flag stuff. An aggressive, fast and grunting sound beside chaotic and catchy guitar riffs are constituting a fine mixture. TRUST fanzine named them the currently best hardcore band. I wouldn't agree with that, but surely it is some of the best stuff i heared this year and some time before. Especially the 2010 EP Anchorite is brilliant. There are still some copies at Jade Tree, Cowabunga Records and Florida's Dying.
We offer you the Addicted to suffering demo-cassette from 2009.

NUCLEAR CULT - Heimspiel Demotape

Risen from the ashes of SOLID DECLINE and also ex-Y, now with the former singer of SM-70/PINK FLAMINGOS. After nearly a decade of playing hardcore/punk as S.D. they got back to harsh thrashing. This demotape has a total runtime of approx. 5 minutes, most of the songs are blasted through in under 20 seconds. Reminds of the second NO COMMENT ep.

Logic Problem - st 12"

Logic Problem is a brute combo from North Carolina, US who comes along with some nice right-in-the-face hardcore. The nice-looking 12" is released by Abuse Records and definitely a good deal for anyone in love with bands like Vitamin X, Black SS and you know...such bands simply. Bought this one in Paris on a junk market last year, so I don't know if its still in stock somewhere over the world. But if it is, catch one!
